The
beginning of the collaboration of interpreters dates back to their
studying together at the Franz
Liszt Music College in Weimar (Germany). At first, in 1990, it was the
duo -
flute and guitar, that started up in respond to Prof. Roland Zimmer, a
remarkable guitar teacher. Enlarged with violoncello, the ensemble has
been
performing since 1994. Its repertoire includes the period from the
early music
up to the contemporary compositions, focusing especially on the
original works
for this instrumentation. The first CD came out in 2001 under heading
of Studio Principium. Not to mention a Live concert in Czech Radio
Event called „Studio Live“,
also a concert within a Chamber Music Competition in Hradec
Králové and International Guitar Festivan concert in Brno
in 2005. Nowdays the group performs as „Lenz-Trio“.
